The photo above shows examples of both composition and the elements of art. For composition, it shows symmetry&pattern, background, and framing.As for elements of art, it shows shape, line, form, space and color.

After cropping these two pictures, the rule of thirds in composition is present. The two trees are in the thirds of the picture, leaving the center empty.

This photo illustrates the color rule of composition because it gets rid of the unnecessary patch of grass, and focuses on the people in the picture.The little girls are wearing clothes that correspond with each other and the sign in the background ie. blues, pinks, purples.

This photo illustrates the rule of thirds in composition because the ferris wheel is in a third of the picture,and the majority of the bubbles are also in a third of the picture.

Composition-Lines

Our assignment was to take pictures of lines. These three photos give a good representation of the composition rule lines because in each photo, there are lines that go in the same direction and in symmetrical patterns.
