Light

Light is everywhere.Thats a fact. But light differs depending on where you're at,and whats going on in your surroundings. Outside, the light is brighter when the sun is out,but the way that sunlight looks to you can be different for everyone. If you're looking at a persons shirt, the light will seem different as oppose to looking at the light bouncing off their skin. Colors of the surfaces (light is bouncing off of) affects the way we perceive the light. Also, glasses or reflective surfaces can alter light. Have someone who wears glasses stand directly under the sunlight. You'll see a glare coming off their lenses!
The way light is used can(and will) affect the picture. If the sun is visibly in the background,it will blow out your picture and alter the colors of the photo. If there isn't enough light, your photo will be too dark, and you won't be able to see what actually in the picture. Having light bounce off the person or object in the picture can be a good or bad thing. If the light compliments the object it can enhance the photo. If the light is blinding the object, it can make the photo look bad.
